Black Friction is a Producer, DJ and crate digger from Dortmund, Germany.
He found his way into music through his good friend and DJ partner ''Thelonious Mark''. Together they form the DJ-duo ''Delicious Frequencies'' and have shared the stage with the likes of the legendary SoulRabbi, Retrogott, Twit One, Acid Arab, Hade as well as Detroit legend Mike Huckaby. When it comes to Black Friction’s/Delicious Frequencies' DJ-Sets, they fashionably move through Funk, Soul, Afro, Latin, Disco and House. You can get a taste of that by checking out their regularly published podcasts on Soundcloud:

In terms of his own productions, BlackFriction keeps it smooth and relaxed for now, chopping up organic and warm samples but not shying away from using one of his synths, that contribute to his warm and chill sound. With ''Introducing: Black Friction'', he is doing what the title already says. 19 lovingly selected Tracks straight from his studio, the ‘Traumstation’, give a first impression and show that Black Friction has done his homework.
Anxious to present some of his stages of life in a musical way, ''Papier Papagei'' could be a sunny day at the Dortmund canal, ''Eto''' might be a walk through the Brazilian jungle and ''Urgh'' could just be a day full of shit. For the tracks ''Jollen Reich'' and ''Momentum'', BlackFriction enlisted the help of his friends and MCs Rehre One and Paul Harbour as well as Marek & Davesn. Listen for yourself and find the track for your day!
